dominikazielinska 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Feral Puss - too dark? do you like the composition? I haven't really taken a lot of animal or pet shots so please give me advice... Link to comment
annaland 0 Posted February 18, 2005 The composition is great. I like it as dark as it is, it wouldn't be the same photo if it was lighter. Is there any detail in the cat's fur that can be brought out? It wouldn't necessarily make it a better print but it would be interesting to see. Love the ear. Link to comment
johnb 0 Posted February 19, 2005 Put down more specifics like lens, film, etc..More light would help also a bit more Depth of Field would help. What was Lilly puss after? :+) Link to comment
dominikazielinska 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Hi there, the lens that I used was the 78-300mm I will have to check which film it was ;o) In regards to the detail in the cats fur - this is pretty much it - she is part burmese but its only in really bright sunlight that you can see any detail of the stripes. She wasn't after much by the way - she was just munching on the grass ;o) Link to comment
annaland 0 Posted March 27, 2005 I have a dog with a very dark coat. I've learned to stop down by .7 to bring out detail. (Because her fur is so luscious.) Might work for your beautiful cat? Did I say I love this photo of her? Link to comment
