Very cool. Cool color ... I'd have liked to see a little more of the skin in focus, but it's a fun idea, beautifully shot.

Can you comment something on the lighting used ?

I would like to be able to use such a soft light source for colleopters (escarabajos) ..

This was lit with two Kino-flo's 2x2 fluorescent light banks. The positions are seen in the ball. Thank you all for looking ! ;-)

Angel, no sabia que era esto y lo he estado buscando, imposible llevarselo al monte y poner uno a cada lado de un bicho sin que se asusten :)

 

(Obviamente) tendre que pensar otra cosa. Es realmente dificil la iluminacion de los escarabajos, pero mira lo que ha conseguido esta chica con un invento casero:

Es de una calidad excepcional, piensa que este bicho brilla casi como un espejo.
