Eric - i think you've done well to create a pleasing balance of lines and angles, but i don't think this image has the foreground intrigue or delicate and appealing shapes of so many of your other shots. but damn, does that ever look like home!!

This is the one I like most of your Blue Sky series. The uniform blue of the sky is a drawback IMO, because the cloudy sky (your previous uploads) with wide angle adds a lot to the feeling of vastness and space. I would really love to see a counterpart for the lines on the ground in the sky.

Funny, but seeing the thumbnail made me wonder if this was a trademark 'Fredine' blue - then I saw the heading. Nice, peaceful composition here so I'm asking myself how this local blue behaves ... it doesn't look cold, but hardly a hospitable place. There are important traces of humanity, but it seems to be a road that very few would travel.

Very spare and beautiful. The gently sloping hill is a nice counterpoint to the lines and the general grit on the right.
