Something a little different around here, and handled very well, I think. Whether your choice of the tall thin crop was because of clutter, or because you just saw the architecture this way, the unconventional composition has probably made an interesting picture where not many would have seen one. A question, what were your thoughts about cropping through the windows, on the left? I have long debates with myself when faced with the same circumstances, whether I should include them 100%, crop through them, as you have done, or leave them out completely. I think, given my current state of mind, that I might have tried to use Photoshop to clone them out, keeping the sharp diagonal of the roof as it is, which suggests to me the reason why you cropped them as you did in the first place, because you might have wanted that diagonal more than you did, or did not want the windows. Removing the windows, though, might make the shot too sterile. What do you think?

The easiest answer is that sometimes you'll want the windows, sometimes you won't. (not meaning to be flip!) In this case, I think it works fine as it is because it's slightly ambiguous as to if you have the whole window on the other house. Likely you do, but who knows. However, that being said - I wouldn't have been disappointed to not have them at all, though I do feel it would have made for a slightly less interesting picture. I like the shapes and tonal range here, and ultimately I think the partial windows add rather than detract.

Brilliant! The window thing has been discussed, so other than that I can't offer much of critique. Perfect sky. It suppports the composition without diverting attention from the forms.
