Eagle At Sunset

This is my first sunset shot ever, taken last November near Haines

harbour in Alaska. No filter for sky colors was used, all original

Hi Harry! Colors seems natural to mee, in fact the tone is common in the northern hemisphere. I like this shot, my only suggestion would be to crop away the most bottom part where you see the water... but keep the black line of land to anchoring the comp... i guess some would disagree, since it might add to the shot. But as i see it, the most bottom part compete with the eagle for the attention.... and in my view the eagle should win. Regards!

NB! Edit: should take the same amount on the left as the bottom on a crop, to maintaining the format... wich works well here.

I admire you for your great pictures of animals and sport. I was not ready for this romantic landscape so well timed and executed. Your trade mark is that flying bird, of course.
