Tryin my hand at some editing with raw images and light creativity

with burn and dodge tools. Had this blown up to poster size and it

looks fantastic.

Even though there's not to much work with this photo, with regards to PS, I had so much fun with this one. After I had finished I imediately ran to the printers and did a poster size and it was really beautiful. Thanks again.

I'm not sure exactly how you did it or what post processing was involved, but this is a very nice photo. I really like this. Well done!

Thank you for you comment. Not too much work, it was important to start out with a little overexposure for the effect and some basic fun with ps.

Marvelous. It depicts such feeling of quietness, solitude, and, yes, sadness, that I can not but look at it again and again. The soft contrasts are perfectly taken. This is the first time I look at your portfolio, but be sure it will not be the last time (there's so much art in it!)

Thank you for the warm comment. I come back to this one quite often. I'm not sure why. One of these days I'll have this printed on clay paper and framed.

Unfortunately this eneded up being a one of a kind. I tried to reproduce this without success. It was done using JASC paintshop pro 8 later cleaned up in Adobe CS. I think I did uses some doding brushes but the interesting this about JASC is that the algorithms in the programming allows for a completely different effect with tools compared to Adobe.
