stp 6 Posted January 15, 2005 Wonderful composition. I'll never be able to visit and experience Namibia except through great photographs like this. Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted January 15, 2005 one of the classics on namibian desert. reminds me of T S Eliot's " waste Land ". beautifully composed & fantastic color. Link to comment
dave_nitsche 0 Posted January 15, 2005 I have a list of places I want to visit and shoot. This is one of them. I love this shot. Haven't seen many bad shots from the area for sure. On my monitor the sand looks a little pinkish. Other images of the area don't have that so maybe just a little tweek in the magenta's a bit might smooth it... OK, how hot was it? Link to comment
suresh randadath 0 Posted January 16, 2005 Is this really on earth? Looks too extra-terrestrial. Really out of the world. What a place! Link to comment
jason macfadyen 0 Posted January 16, 2005 Simply stunning! Good contrasting colours and great composition. However, as someone else noted the sky does have slight visible noise and it also looks like there were some touch-ups done on the top branches (over sharpened) and above the dune (top left). Otherwise it is a beautiful image and I'd still give it a 6.7/6.5 :) Link to comment
seadrift 0 Posted March 18, 2006 No way to critique perfection of composition ,color and exposure. Only criticism is that you didn't invite me along. Your desert work is marvelous. Link to comment
