Again, something a bit different. Man can not live by naked women,

beer cans and fruit alone!

Feedback and constructive comments very much appreciated!

The forms are excellent. I might experiment with making the lines either sharper or even more blurred. Overall the entire composition works and I must admit that the pepper in the right hand corner helps the whole picture.

I like the framing of this shot very much. almost sensual. it allows the imagination to flow, but the negative space included keeps everything in check.

the lines of a pregnant woman silhoutte for me of course if I tilt my head it looks like the top of a ninja turtle's head.

This color always works for me so I must proclaim that I may be biased.

The shot on my screen seems compressed/slightly pixelated. Is this intentional or just an after effect?

addendum- the model appears a bit thin, do you have a thing for using thinner models in your work? (I figured since your #1 fan wasnt here I'd make up for it)

Knicki- who knows very well what a tongue looks like but was being pleasant my dearest David.

Owen, I must admit, I like the composition very much myself! The shadows are as they appeared on the wall. It was a hazy polluted day and the sunlight was diffused. Maybe if they appear sharper one day I will do a re-shoot! I suppose I could make them softer in PS. However, I like them the way they are. It is good to hear the viewpoints of others though.

Zachary, I think you see exactly what I see. This makes me happy.

Knicki, I have to be honest with you and say I never saw the similarity between this picture and a pregnant woman! I think you are way ahead of me on that one. If we are ever alone together remind me not to give you an ink blot test to do!

Not sure about the compression! It seems fine on my screen. What you may be seeing is the brush strokes of the paint. This is simply a shot of a painted wall!

Talking of tongues, I saw a rather good shot of a tongue today. Do check it out!

Thanks everyone!

David, your creativity is both amazing and refreshing. This and your other recent offerings should show those critics who say you fixate on women's pelvises and beer cans. BTW, you're right: you can't live on beer cans, but you can last a good while on the beer in those cans. After all, man does not live by beer alone. ;-)

Owl, It is shots like this one that appeal to me more than my beer. Having said that photographing women is more fun.

As for my critics. Very few stop by my more artistic pictures. I think that says more about them than me!

Thanks!

Very Beautifull! Dave i gotta say you couldent have picked a more lovely shade of blue! it actualy is prety close to the shade my guitar is in the sun(proably why its my fav). Great Shot and again very creative, I think this does kinda leave those beer critics w/o a leg to stand on.

I think we all like photos for different reasons. If you like this because it reminds me of your guitar, that is fine by me.

Thanks for taking the time!

David, I am surprised again ! This is the beauty of the creative mind at work. Suddenly the beer can and the bush has new meaning. Thank you for messing up our minds, for keeping us guessing. Oh ! and by the way, this particular orange is mine. Don't you dare.

Interesting comment Angel. I am glad you like this.

What is interesting about your comment is your 'orange.' I wont dare. However, in my biography, I used my P.N user ID to generate the colour of some text. I thought it was an interesting idea but never felt the need to tell anyone..... until now! Thanks

Thanks for looking!
