gabriella_lucia 0 Posted January 10, 2005 A change of pace for you and quite nice. I like the perspective and the golden tones. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 10, 2005 This appeals to me aesthetically. I love the tones that you've chosen here. And I love road shots because they REALLY draw your eye into the shot!! Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted January 10, 2005 IMO, one of your best recent images. Very nice texture, tones, and perspective. Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted January 10, 2005 Howard, nice sense of depth and warm tone for winter. I like it. BTW, might be a good idea to have a rear-view mirror when shooting something like this next time as you'll never know what might be coming from behind. ^_^ Link to comment
gcanyon 0 Posted January 11, 2005 Howard, the textures of this picture are so interesting. From the asphalt of the road to the land surfaces on its shoulder. And...nicely coloured. Rick Link to comment

Todd Kowalski 0 Posted January 11, 2005 Howard, this is a very nice photo, I have paused upon it often, hence I had to remark on it. The textures are incredible. It is always nice to see your work! Have a healthy and creative 2005. Regards, TK Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Not sure why I like this so. I guess it is the color....no, it's the texture....no, I think it is the crack across the bottom of the page. Maybe all of the above...:-) Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted January 16, 2005 Howard- I love the color and the texture. Nice composition too. Super job! Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted February 1, 2005 It does work well, despite (or because of) breaking some of the compositional "rules". To me it tells the story of a place often passed but seldom noticed. Of choices to be made (to stay or to leave). A story told with a hint of nostalgia ... a moody creation. Well done. PS It makes me think of the book "A Thousand Country Roads" (RJ Waller).
