American Avocet II

I like the lighting and reflections. The one odd bird in front right worked out well. Nice symmetry. I bet this was a hard one to crop.

Very nice capture Jerry, Such compact groups are not easy to catch as the tend to ... fly away.

 

i also nice the panoramic framing, to avoid distractions, and the overall tone range that i feel appropiate. The foreground bird on the right third adds to the picture that otherwise would miss of a starting point.

Kim and Giuseppe for your comments/ratings. It is always hard to crop/compose the picture when you are dealing with a flock of birds. This version is probably the best that I can do from the original.
