In the 25th december morning, after I had unpacked the gifts that

Father Christmas had given to me, I took my camera and went in the

country to take photos. The reflections of the sun on this wet road

were plesant and I found these haystacks on the side seemed to me a

good point of interest in the composition, despite the plastic they

were wrapped in (perhaps some gifts fallen from the Father Christma's

sledge ?). Thank you to rate and comment.

Very nice tonal range, especially considering that you are looking into the sun.

I like shots of country roads, and this one is well done.

Hello Henri, the road and sky make the photo...forgive me but what about a crop at the left side of the road to omit the hay bales? It also places the sun in the dramatic top left corner. Just a thought. Happy New year

Thank you Jos. I have tried what you suggest. I also thought it would be better, and yet the result did not satisfy me, I don't know why. I have also made another shot, leting the bales behind me, but the composition lacks of something on the left.

Hi Henry, overall very nice shot. Difficult and well captured. Horizon is too much in the center though. (big smile) I made a crop, but only as suggestion, more ways seem possible to me.

Dear Henry, avec un minimum... sorry, with a minimum PS work (but maybe not you tasse de the), you could really transform this pic. Great shot anyway. Yours, AM

Thank you Al, but you know, I have not the half of your creativity and inventivity, and for this photo in any case, it suit me as it is.

ANother lovely B&W, Henri. The aky is subtle but effective. Needless to say, the road nicely captured.
