Linda, we do almost have phone number together.

I like the darkness, gothic feel to it. Reminds me of batman.

Gemlike and dimensional, with a crystalline regularity. I enjoy photographs such as this, I think they help keep me sane :0) Regards.

So good to hear from you! This is over the entrance to the Chrysler Building in New York...405 is the number. For another view of the building, see Roger's picture...http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2966020

Now that's nice! The deco influence in NYC is pretty inspiring, as is your photo. It was so ultra modern at the height of the deco period.

Great shot, Linda. Love those colors and patterns!

Now that you and Ken have gotten us going on the numbers, April 5, 1998 was the day my ex-wife walked out--right after we had finished viewing a documentary on the sinking of the Titanic. She had packed the car the day before, and we had just finished Sunday dinner after her return from another edifying visit to the local Presbyterian church, before we watched the unsinkable Titanic go down. (Well, we had been married almost thirty years, and had gone with each other four years more before that. I THOUGHT it was unsinkable.)

I will say that she was tactful enough to wait until the Titanic had completely settled into the cold death of the North Atlantic before she walked out. After the documentary, I walked to the back of the house and came back--and she was. . . gone!

I still haven't decided whether it would be appropriate to send her a belated thank you note, or instead a note of condolences (I won't say for whom).

Question: Did she have an accomplice?

(. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Batman theme playing in background. Thank you, Knicki. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .)

(Dylan in background: "You just sort of wasted my precious time, but don't think twice, it's alright.")
