I think this photo wold have improved enourmously with a bit more depth of field, no blue on the left side or, if possible,using it to "frame" the flower.The "scars" on the leave on the left are somewhat distracting.

Mario thansk for the comment. I think that everything you said is just why I love this image. It is certainly not my intention to give you a perfect flower. It has to have some mystery in it and that is why I work with a very shallow depth of field. Take is as an art. thanks jana
