The composition looks good and the tones are fine imo (but then I would not class myself as any kind of expert). It looks better LARGER when the details of the building begin to stand out. For PN I would use a smaller frame. I would be interested to see the colour version as the reservation I have about it is that the building merges too much into the background. But a fine shot!

There's much to like about this image. The tonal range is great. The lines of the hill, the path, and the cloud add movement to the composition. There's a nice variety of detailed textures. Technically, the composition is sound. Where I struggle is my eye wants to travel down the well worn path but I know the intended focal point is the decaying barn. It's causing me a bit of a visual tug of war. Still, I would probably have shot this from exactly the same spot (maybe from a lower angle).

Very effective, Robert, thou were I on the path I would have a bit of a decision once I got opposite the old barn(?). Regards, Mister Ken
