Color version. Which do you prefer? Thanks and Happy New Year.

It's a tough choice between color and B&W. If It weren't for the colors in the background (which work well with the colors in the rest of the photo, especially with the girl on the right) I would say B&W. B&W does great things for bringing out the lighting... OK, I vote for B&W. Nice work.

The light is good. I would crop the image.

Nice tender colors...

Durr, for me this is an easy call: the B&W is far preferable. This picture is all about shapes and lighting; in particular, the profile of the young lady in the center and the rim lighting on the young lady on the right.

 

With the color version, I find my attention distracted by the colors in the background.

 

Now, if this were a picture of a colorful flat, and two dancers wandered in front of it as you tripped the shutter...but somehow I don't think that was the intention behind the photograph.

 

The color version isn't a bad photograph. It's just that the B&W is a great one.

Colour, beautiful colour. The fantastic, soft, mood-creating tones are not muted by the colour here. Indeed, they are enhanced.

Although I like this version and the colours, I do prefer the B/W version more.

I prefer this version then the color one.

I vote for B&W.

I've come across the color version first. Have to say that I like it better than the B+W because it has a mood that I can not get from the B+W. Both are excellent though. Regards

My first thought was - wow ....... it was also my 2nd thought - great colors and a mix of details and shadows - some interesting body language going on here too - nice ...
