markboyer 0 Posted December 30, 2004 I think this is a better version of a picture I put up last night. And since I mean it as a tribute to other folks who take really good pictures, I thought I'd post it. I wish everybody a happy new year. "Who in his own backyard, Has not opened his heart To the silent secret He cannot quote? Which goes to show That the bard was sober When he wrote That this world of fact we love Is insubstantial stuff. The rest is silence On the other side of the wall. And the silence ripeness, And the ripeness all." W. H. Auden Link to comment

heleny_foto 0 Posted January 1, 2005 This image should find its way to someone's wall. Link to comment
gphoto 0 Posted January 1, 2005 interesting but i think it would be more so if the glass had actually tipped and you caught the action. Link to comment
wernher 0 Posted January 9, 2005 I appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into this shot. I like the progression in the frame size and how the last cherry has run out of the frame. The image is best viewed large - the detail is good.I wonder what it would look like with a pure white backdrop? I noticed that in the last frame the glass looks a bit grey where, for my taste, I would have liked to see it "clean" and transparent.A belated happy new year to you too and thank you for taking the time to write thoughtful critiques on others' photos. Guest Guest Posted August 31, 2005 Really cool idea! Just wish the image was alittle sharper but I can't tell if that is because of my monitor. 6/7 Amy H Link to comment
