kslonaker 0 Posted December 29, 2004 I like this, too. We had some heavy fog this morning, but I'm at home sick today and didn't want to go out and take pictures (you know I'm sick when that happens!). I like the tree and maybe would have liked just a little more space to either side, if possible. Link to comment
root 0 Posted December 29, 2004 So nice to see a subtle, low contrast shot. Nice tight composition that would also work with more space around it as well. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted December 29, 2004 Isn't this Your Tree, Sondra? I think of it as Your Tree anyway as you introduced it to the wider world. Colin's fog theory : - I think the shot that works in fog or mist depends on how thick the fog is. The thicker it is the closer you need to be to get the best effect. I wonder whether this shot would look better closer in to the tree? (Just a theory - not proved yet) Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted December 29, 2004 Colin, this is a different angle of "my tree". Next time I get into some fog I will try your theory. In England you should have alot of fog to experiment with. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment

awhoward 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Great shot. I really like the feeling of a misty morning that it evokes. I wonder what it would look like though a wider angle so that it wasn't cropped as tightly. Perhaps better, perhaps not. It's hard to know without seeing it. Link to comment
