A hungry sealion feeds on salmon in the Nisqually River as menacing

sea gulls attempt to steal its meal. This is the middle of a

sequence of three images; iso 1600, 400th sec. The other images

follow. In the first, a salmon explodes as the sealion bites into

it. In the last, the fish remains are barely visible to the right

of the gull. An amazing scene to watch...

Great set of images although they may be a bit soft,but in this game you cannot have every thing.

The image posted for critique is compositorial strong enough to take my attention. But the additional images that rewarded me for heving a larger view forms one of the best "nature" sequences I have seen on photo.net. The three together are worth 8/8 (but I adapted my rating to reality...7/7 thus)
