I guess I should submit my photos for critique only. However, I do live in hope that someday all members of P.N will back up all their ratings with constructive comments. I can dream!

I like this..... but then I would, wouldn't I?

Constructive comments and critiques appreciated.

Thanks Corola. I see you appreciate abstracts. That is encouraging. Thanks!

Arlene, If you knew what it was, it wouldn't be abstract..... would it? Thanks for looking.

Looks like a Rorschach test. Very abstract, nice blending of colors. David, you are getting GOOD at that PS thing! I like!

Owl, Apart for minor adjustments in contrast and levels. This picture is straight out of the camera. No PS here!

Biliana, when I looked at this the feeling I got was of an explosion as well! I thought of using that in the title. However the bright spot to the top left suggested drowning to me. Thanks!

Jana, I hope you don't think it is a painting.... I am a photographer! (Just joking!) I am glad you like it. I like creating this sort of image. I have no doubt I will create more in time!

Thank you all!

Hmm... it's a bit hard to figure out what this image is...

But from the way I see it, it looks like a female private part in a bath tub with some colourful acid put in the water ? (well maybe not acid but some sort of colourful liquids)..

Am I right or do you think my brain and eyes just need some rest? :)

Albert

PS: Nice colour !

Ave, I am glad you like it. Thanks.

Albert, I have no idea how you managed to work out what this was but please don't tell the police.

I always keep coming back to these shots, wandering what it might be, but you're right, it wouldn't be an abstract anymore. Anyway, knowing would take the fun out of it! Well done

David, Despite the absence of a beer can I think this is wonderful. Seriously, it is terrific: color, balance, mood - very beautiful and emotional.

David, here I was thinking in digital terms, photoshop, etc., and you used ordinary objects to get a surreal effect! Proof that no computer can surpass the one we have between our ears if we use it. Absolutely brilliant!

Beautiful color abstract David. I like getting lost in the colors and soft texture of these types of images. The fact that the eye can't define it as a specific object invites the mind to partake in unrestricted imagination- to take a little trip from reality. (I still want to know what it is!)

Mark, I like to show what a versatile artist I am and so I thought I would try to create something with the beer on the inside...... All jokes aside, thanks for your words. You do realise you have given me a challenge to do something with beer cans now...... I can't wait.

Owl, While computers don't work at all when you pour beer in them..... my computer works differently..... that is the one between my ears.... although it has been said I am sitting on it... Hope you know the one I mean!

Laurie, If I told you what it was it wouldn't make any sense..... you would just want to ask more questions. However, you have a desire to know and so I will answer. It is a Christmas flower arrangement!

Thanks you all!

David, nice splach of color. abstract enough to allow the eye to make it anything the viewer so desires.

David, Thanks for revealing the subject. I suspected flowers. But....with you, I try not to assume anything!

I have a penchant for abstraction as is shown in my own paintings and I like this a great deal. The use of color is excellent and the shapes work very well.

I also like the little pepper in the lower right corner.

Happy New Year.

-Cheers
