Okay ... here's an example of the FABULOUS job you do with portraiture!! I LOVE this picture. Here's a woman with PERSONALITY!! You can tell just by looking into her eyes. Simply wonderful, Howard!!

I saw your name before the photo came up and knew immediately I would like it - I was not disappointed. Agree about the personality part and I also see strength and grace as well! Your portraits are so great!

howard, this may be my favorite of everything you have done -- very professionally done (lighting, composition), its honest, her emotion warm and lively. only quibbles are to work the shadowy areas below the nose a little more and provide a smidgen more room on the top. very happy for you to see you create such a significant portrait.

CR: A part of the success belongs to the lady's taste she chose her dressing with! Yours is the excellent depth and the fact that you did a very good crop at the top! REgards

Although I bet this would work in your high-key effect, this is great in color. It has so much character, it flies off the page at you. Well done, Howard!

I had to come back and up my rating from 6/6 to 7/6. The image is stuck in my head, so I have to do it justice.

Howard this is about as detailed of a portrait as one can ask for. The lighting and dof are perfect. I am glad this is in color, it's priceless this way.

Extremely detailed portrait, Howard. I especially like the large, broad light source and had to wonder if that's a skylight, or a giant lightbanks at top right. BTW, is she really sticking her tongue out at you?! Another one on the wall. ^_^
