i am quite busy at the moment, having little time 4

Photonet,...working on a new series...of special landscapes

-

maybe the most important series i made untill yet

-

picture will be printed on canvas in 100 x 70 centimeters and framed

in a special frame made by a designer specialy for this pictures

-

this may be the only picture of this series wich will be seen in the

net in this form...others may be photographed, when they are framed,

at the exibition ...then without the white frame anyway...

-

cause i have so little time 4 photonet... here is a special winter-

greeting-card 4 all PN`s

Thanks Umesh...the most work , was "brainwork"...thinking about what to do,...how to do, there was just the idea to make some pictures wich will be framed by this designer...i wanted canvas... i wanted it minimalistic, i wanted bodylandscapes...i wanted that the body isnt be noticed at the first and maybe not even at the second look...but at the third ;-),... i wanted something special...

then, taking the photos, was the easiest part, but deciding wich one to take...how to work it out...was again "brainwork" withount an end...

then the real work in photoshop...was slow, because of realy big files...about 100-300 mb each, plenty layers, structures,colours....

the small image dont show all the details wich will be seen in the big print...i worked on this picture... just photoshop 5 hours... unbelivable...but true

if it wouldnt be so important pictures...i would have done something similar...in 30 minutes ;-)

Let me get the important part up front -- I like this *a lot* -- but I wonder if it hasn't had so much PS manipulation that it's taken out of the realm of photography and become computer art. It's undeniably lovely, but is it still a photograph? Whatever anyone wants to call it though -- well done!

I guess I'm in the minority here, but the transition between the tree branches and sky just looks too artificial and segmented. On the other hand, the snow has turned out well. Lol!!!

Andreas - this is brilliant! My friend was looking through here today and saw this image. He said, "that's not a photo, is it?" I glanced across the room and said, "Is that one of Andreas'?" It wasn't until a few hours later that I actually looked at it and gasped, "Wow! That's a body!" - Brilliant! Love the tree!

Ha, ha, ha, ha. ......great execution! Really clever, Andreas. Thank God it's not real. Otherwise, throw away the shaver and bring on a pair of scissors! Come to think of it, I'll bet there's a big, thick tree stump right behind the right hill . . . ^_^
