scotshot 0 Posted December 21, 2004 I like the way that both green patches are separated by the dark diaginal band leaving two green triangles. This is good use of the rule of thirds, by placeing the tree there it breaks the dark diaginal and prevents it from overpowering the shot. I like this shot a lot, well done. Regards, Jim. ian cameron 0 Posted December 22, 2004 Hi Francesco as you know, I don't often make comments on pictures, yours are always beguiling. I always look at them, occasionally I find them a little oversaturated for my taste but your observations on light form and balance in your scenics are always second to none. This one works for me on all counts. I quite enjoy the half tree approach myself. Initially I wasn't so taken with the smaller bush on the left of the image but it is correctly placed and weighted to stop your eye wandering out of the frame and fill a void. Great shot congratulations. Link to comment

john falkenstine 1 Posted December 23, 2004 An average image...and a bit boring...too much mate rating going on here. I recommend many of the raters "expand their horizons a bit" and make some effort to look at some more images at least once in a while. Link to comment
