Melissa, I too like the composition. All the diagonal lines of the various elements lead the eye right to the tree. The suggestion to eliminate part of the sky would have the effect of increasing the size of the tree relative to the rest of the scene but, in my opinion, would tend to lose some of the spacious feeling of the shot. Depends on the mood you wanted to portray. Moody effect from the mist & would change the shot dramatically without it. Best, LM.

Thanks for your comment on my photo. I wanted to check out your gallery and, being a sucker for trees found several shots of trees, etc. that are great. I particularly like the mood of this one. Thanks again. Oh yeah, and I love the red doors photo. OK. So the lower rail can come out. That's what photoshop is for. Keep it up.

Beautiful natural delicate colours and lovely flowing lines give this great depth. There is a wonderful tranquility about it.
