I agree with your statement, this portrait talks to you, very good expression however I'm not happy with your choice of framing the subject. I would place the subject a bit up and to the right thus showing less of the clothing and focus more on the lively face. but this IMHO. 5/6

I think the cropping works as is. Her relaxed and freindly expression matches her casual clothes. If it was cropped the photo would seem more formal/glamor and not have the same effect. Nicely done.
