Wreck of the Peter Iredale 18

A very good sunset for late fall on the Oregon Coast. It was blustery, with 20-30 mile an hour winds. This is most of what's left of the wreck of the Peter Iredale (wrecked in about 1900, not much left). Used a polarizer and warming filter.

No doubting the drama of the other shot, but this tells me more so is just as dramatic for different reasons (check my biog :) )

Bob, I like this version too, for the reasons you stated. The photo illustrates how the skeleton of this wreck is being consumed by the sand and persistent surf.
