One more for this serie. I'd like to know what others think about

these images, so feel free to give any comment or advice.

I'd have to say this is the least effective of your portrait series. The other 5 portraits show emotion and feeling. This subject might as well be giving a tax seminar from all the emotion I get from his expression.

I like the other portraits better too. Sometimes a complicated background can help you because it says something about the person (the one with the painting) but here it just complicates the picture. Good job anyway!

Yes, maybe this is somewhat wicker emotionally. I like the composition and the fact we can see a painting and his colors, brushes etc. I got another one of Mr. Echaurren where he's surely more involved emotionally but doesn't feel much like a "portrait"... here's a small version:

It's a fine portrait, but the subject comes across as a more precise and meticulous individual than the others. He has an inquisitive look on his face that seems focused on the person he is talking to. Maybe not all artists are flamboyant?

On the background, I think the table with supplies arranged is helpful; the window does detract for me.
