If the artisitic choice was to be so bright on the left side -- good job! But I think it would play better if you had more detail. It's a bit too bright on the left, and a bit too dark on the right -- but the middle, and the leading shadow going into the right is nice.

The type of picture people will disagree with, I think? I think its great. Love the toning, perfect for the subject. Is it PS'd or is that the quality of the film/print? The overexposed left side works for me, the way the pear vanishes into the background...

Must be the season for pears, a lot of people take shot of them, including myself.

I agree with Stephen above; I also like the way the pear fades into a white high-key oblivion. Very Good photograph Chris! Regards.

I like the lack of detail on the left - a fantasy fruit! Works for me.

By any chance have you used a white gradient to acheive the whited out look to the left? Sorry I see computer effects in everything even if sometimes they are nonexistant :) Great shot.

Nope. No Gradient Filter used here. I just used a desk lamp and placed it as such to get this effect.

I am missing details in white zone (just a bit over exposed). Odherwise great.
