Easter Sunday

Nevermind some artifacts emerged, the picture is supposed to be bigger.:) Shot with fish-eye Zenitar 16mm made in Russia. I love distorsions it provides.:)

Well, as they say in my home town, that kicks butt. The distortion is really great and that Commie lense really capture the detail quite well. I too, am the proud owner of several Russian cameras and their great, but sadly variable, lenses. You have a winner in both the photograph and the lens. Well done.

Thank you, Doug.:) Russian optics are variable but there are some very good ones. I would not say that about russian cameras except few of them. Good luck!:)

Wonderful wide angle distortion and well applied to this composition. I love the tonal range, and I think the grain is o.k. for this shot. Great job. This also answers a question I had in my mind as to what those lenses are capable of in the right hands(I see them on ebay all the time, and I've been tempted).

If you aren't happy with the grain & artifacts, here is an example of some noise filtration done with a piece of software called Neat Image, which I like so much I bought the pro + version license. It isn't a cure-all, but I've found some real uses for it. (No, I'm not a salesman for them :)) just a fan of the product.
