Canadian Geese with fall colour

I really love this in terms of composition and color. I think that it is a great photo as is, but I wish that you had been able to get the geese sharp. Were you trying to get them sharp? I assume so since the blur is a bit horizontal in the background, like you were trying to follow them. I've only tried such shots a couple times, and not with such success. Again, beautiful photo.

This is an excellent shot. I guess you were panning while taking this photograph, hence those blurred background. Very well done indeed.

This image was handheld at iso500, 125thsec f8. It was a dark and cloudy day. Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 VR with TC201EII telextender at 400mm, (600mme quiv. with D70). Here is a sharpened image in PS. But remember, there are trade offs with PS CS. Perhaps I will go back with a tripod when I have luck and a clear day... Here is a PS CS sharpened version.
