jayme 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Howard- Pouring rain? Wow! It looks so interesting because he looks like he's at the end of his rope! I would love to see the original for comparison. Suspended by a single thread! Nice capture. Nice High key effect you are so famous for! Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Jayme, this is the original! I did change mode to grey scale but little else. There was no color in the original. Sometimes reality is a High-key White Out. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted December 12, 2004 This is uniquely High-Key Howard! Although I wish to see more of the critter's facial detail, but since you're presenting this as an abstract, it's a non-issue. ^_^ Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted December 13, 2004 I like your composition on this one Howard. High key is not my cup of tea, but in this case, I'll make an exception.... ;-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 13, 2004 Well, Howard, you know I'm honest, if nothing else - this doesn't work for me. I don't like the lack of detail in the squirrel's face. If it was a total silouette, it might work. However, I seem to be in the minority, so I wouldn't let it bother you much. I DO love the bridge picture you posted -very dramatic and detailed. aepelbacher 0 Posted December 16, 2004 Sorry, Howard ... it doesn't work for me, either. There isn't enough detail, it's not quite close enough, and I'm not so sure about the negative space. Sorry. Link to comment
dchatter 0 Posted September 22, 2006 This gallery folder is a joy to behold :-) And this is my personal pick, most enjoyable pice of work. Best regards. Link to comment
