Mission San Jose

Small adjustment of perspective in Photoshop. Cloned out a small patch of sky that pulled the eyes away.

There were five Franciscan missions built in San Antonio, Texas, in

the early 1700's. The Alamo is the most famous, of course, but San

Jose was the largest and is the best preserved. The church is still in

use and hosted a wedding the day we were there. This view is of the

backdoor to the church and the ruins of the large convento attached to

the rear of the church.

I wanted a shot that captured the texture and character of the old

stone walls. Comments are welcome. --Joe
