salvatore.mele 1 Posted December 9, 2004 Hoisting the several hundredth kilos of several tens of square metersof mainsail is a though job......does the picture convey it? Or is too much of a sailing-buff thing?Comments (& ratings) are welcome. Link to comment

sef1664877429 0 Posted December 10, 2004 A wonderful low angel, and there is a sense of effort and weight from his expression, the blur and his leg disappearing out of frame, which I guess, would be the anchor(pun intended)! Its just a shame about those annoying people in the background, they are a distraction, not that there's much time to shoo them out of the way, I would imagine. Or do they have to be there for safety reasons? It would have been a more powerful picture without them, but otherwise, I like this. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 13, 2004 This photo certainly gives the feeling you were trying to convey. I agree with the comment regarding the figures in the background. Come to think of it. This poor guy is working awfully hard while the two guys in the background have a little chat and you're playing with your camera. Now....is that fair? Nice capture Salvatore! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 21, 2005 Good angle. Brings the viewer into the midst of the action. Link to comment
