'Chasing The Dragon'

This is Rab, now a lot of you will guess from this image that he is a drug addict and some might well surmise ideas that that makes him a bad person, Wrong!

Rab and people like him are the soul of the streets for despite his dependency afflictions he is one of the most caring people that I have ever met.

Many times I have seen him 'Clucking' (going through heavy withdrawals) yet instead of buying himself a fix he has given it to others who have needed it to buy food or drink.

He looks out for other homeless people especially the old or the vulnerable that are at risk from the 'Taxers' who go around preying on them. A few years ago when Rab was sleeping someone attacked him and put a broken bottle in his face resulting in him losing an eye but as he say's with that sly grin of his, 'I only need one good one to watch them with'!

I have been trying to get Rab to think about coming off the street and doing something with his life he say's he really wants to and I believe him but the problem is he needs support for this from the authorities, I have also been looking into the possibility of corporations investing in the homeless & vulnerable so that they can get their lives back into order and qualifications/skills that will aide them in finding work, I would like to establish an art/craft centre where the homeless/vulnerable and low waged can come to learn arts/skills and personal development I already have many volunteers offering their support amongst them brilliant artists and designers one or two from the 'Royal Collage of Art' the problem is I am not a businessman and am inefficient in these matters and until I can find someone with as much passion & commitment for this it will just have to remain a dream. (any ideas?)

By all means rate my pictures, but please leave a comment, let me know what you think of them, what they say to you the viewer, how you see them as individuals/human beings and what you think could be done to make some good out of a bad situation.

I was going to try and say something inteligent ,but anything i could come up with is one more ....nothing that hasnt been said over and over again.Things need to be done not said.

as other i have seen, this is a strong story!

this snapshot is very hot. i mean that these are thing that people can't usually see (or maybee just my 'grandma' can't, I see lot's of friend introducing this use..).

anyway when i see ur photos i can't really have a critic moment and say how i analyze ur pic. maybee this is a snapshot and just for this reason a critic or a comment is incosistent.

i simply find marvellous ur cut.
