Great mood indeed, but not xmas particularly, more a cosy winter evening,... but if you added a miniatyr santa C or some decoration then it would have had a good sense of xmas :-) Either way, well done!

Wonderful composition. I am also very envious, because we in Fairbanks, Alaska, have had very few opportunities to view the aurora this year. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work!

Really awesome capture, Ketil. In general it does have a Christmas mood. However, given that this is unmanipulated, was it a front fill light that you use yielded a blue tint to the central snow area? Was this shot on a tripod at around 4 seconds with a pop of electronic flash on the camera? Really is wonderful, all in all! ^_^

Hello, the warm light is from the kerosine lamp innside. the cool blue light is from a head lamp whit Led diodes, the capture is on tripod, 8 sec, iso 400, Raw format
