Very nice treatment of the clouds, rock and snow. The dark hill in the foreground sets the mood. Like the light in the snowfields. I agree that black and white seems to be more effective with the mountain shots - maybe because it places the emphasis on composition and lighting, or because it makes the scene more austere.
