Friendly - Who says you can't have a serious character portrait of a non-human?

An early film portrait of a beloved cat who came across as well as

any subsequent subject.

I normally dislike pet pictures but something about this is rather striking. It's the combination of technique and the apparently serious expression on the cat's face.

Focus is not sharp as it could be.
