Glowing Rose

CR: Greetings from "water" to "rose"! How did you manage this? - I know that just from rose-styled candles ... RE

This is just a yellow rose that I worked on in PS. Used the levels to darken background and repaired a couple of petals. Saturation did the rest. Cheers, Sondra

I was wandering round PN today, and came across this.. simple and beautiful with a unique accent.

 

Wandering more, I found your daisy aswell. Beautiful.

 

Both reminded me of the simplicity and beauty of nature - something that can be forgotton too easily when trying for something that will stand out amongst so many other wonderful photographers.

 

I've posted a poppy today... feeling inspired.

Very beautiful. I've tried to achieve the same effect with a LED light inserted in the side of the rose, but to no avail. This is much more beautiful that anything I've come up with. Rick

Very nice effect. I like the cool outer petals combined with the warm glow of the center.
