"Hands and Jewels", 2002

As many of my models carry their jewles to the photosession I've

accumulated a ("Jewles")series of abstract photographs showing them.

This picture works around the prominent ring...tack sharp in the

framed original.

There's a very nice rhythm and contrast in the smooth legs and breasts in this picture vs the arms and hands. All the busy shapes are in the centered, and they're buffered from the edges of the frame by the softer shapes.

In that vein, I would have taken off the large bracelet, as I think the transition from bold (the ring) to soft via the bracelets is broken by the large bracelet.
