Tough to do, but a bit quicker shutter speed might snap the feathers into focus a bit more... nice colors though.

Hi Sam...beautiful Eclectus...is he yours? The photo is slighlty soft not showing the fine, hair like feather detail, and your EXIF info says you were shooting at 1/30th...harder to handhold so maybe a faster shutter next time? I have that camera in my collection...it's a great little camera isn't it?

couldn't be faster as the light was very low while the aperture was already set as wide as possible. A tripod would have helped - in theory. Under such conditons, once you've set up a tripod, the bird has flown away. Keith & Melanie, thanks very much for your critiques & comments. Cheers, Sam.
