cherlyn 1 Posted December 5, 2004 Howard, you are great in B/W. Contrast & tones are presented so well. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted December 5, 2004 Wonderful detail and composition. I wonder how sepia would look to give it a little warmth. The shadow and light are excellent. I just want those old guys (I'm fastly approaching their age) to appreciate some warmth! LOL Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 5, 2004 I like the way the light and shadows are enhanced in this composition. I can picture it in sepia, too, but I also like b&w. Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted December 7, 2004 It looks sharp all over with lots of detail, Howard. Not sure how you pulled it off, but the composition works even with so much elements in it! ^_^ Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted December 7, 2004 Hey Howard, good stuff! What I enjoy about so much of your work (in general) is that your shots really 'draw the viewer in.' I really feel that I can 'smell the trees.' As Wilson says 'there's a lot going on in the shot' but it all hangs so well together to tell the whole story. Retirement? I'd rather die first! Great stuff Howard. Warm regards. Warren Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted December 7, 2004 One last thing! I see there's the 'new you' on your bio page! Nice to know where you live as well - will check out your area on the Net a little later. Warren Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted December 7, 2004 Howard that is not only a good image, but you have captured the atmospher of old age.The shadows are very well connected to the figures of the old people, very good capture. And your new portrait...history as well! Pnina Link to comment
sriram 0 Posted December 10, 2004 This one captures the mood very well...the men, their posture, the mature trees, the shadows, everything melds very well. Link to comment
