salvatore.mele 1 Posted December 3, 2004 I tried to keep it pretty simple... does it work? By the way, should you like this, other shots are http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=73027>here. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted December 3, 2004 This has a very nice design to it with the strong diagonal, nice geometric shapes, and red area as focal point. While it may not be readily apparent to everyone what exactly it is, it's a very attractive abstract. Good shot. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted December 4, 2004 Now, I like this, well positioned lines, the single colour... I might turn down the saturation of the reds just a tad, maybe -12( I know, that's what it was like on the day!). Others may disagree with me, that's fine. Perfect crop. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted December 4, 2004 There isn't much I can add that hasn't already been said. Very graphic. I like the orange as it is. It isn't overly saturated and there is detail going all the way through it. For curiosity's sake, I wonder what this would look like if, on the dark patches the diagonal seam was bright, and on the white patches the seam was darker. It would add yet another element of contrast. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 5, 2004 By the basic guidelines of photography, this image followed every single one of them in terms of composition. Impressive! In terms of colors, what is the significance of the pure red in the top left hand corner? It increased the instability of the image which is already very high caused by the other oblique lines. delp 0 Posted December 5, 2004 This is a wall-hanger, Salvatore. It would fit quite well in the appartment in Annecy ... ;-) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 6, 2004 This one has everything going for it! The diagonal line, complimentary colors, strong graphic pattern etc. Well done Salvatore! Link to comment
