Sam, nice catch on this pretty parrot and I think the plant that it is sitting on works very well as the background. I wish that you can blur the background just a little bit though. Still a very good shot.

Jerry, thanks very much for your critique. I experience a sort of 3-D quality in this picture. Blurring the background may enhance this effect. However, I don't know how to do that!
