The contrast here is very extreme, it's somewhat jarring to my eyes, though the yellow marble seems to compliment the cat's eyes very well. The high contrast is hard to work with, it seems it could be improved with some level tweaking perhaps to make it feel less blown out on the back wall.

 

Just browsed through your photos, you have an excellent eye for colour!

Sondra, a black cat on a light background is traditionally the most difficult exposure situation! You've done very well as only a few patches look blocked out. (And funny too!)

Oh, this picture is excellent. First of all it's really funny. Further the contrast is good. And the eyes of the cat tell us he shouldn't be there.

I adore the irony, considering cats don't typically like water. :-) I love those "big boy" cats.

 

I love the play of the gold versus the soft stark black -- gives a sense of luxury to it. :-)
