Looks good to me. I might just crop down into the bright highlight on the right to balance the image a bit more. Most of the shadow detail and lower tones are towards the bottom.

I love the feel of the taoist print. at first glance i wasn't sure if it was a photo or not. beautiful photo and composition.

 

btw- what does the kanji say?

This is awesome, love the high key mist. Afraid I dont like the japanese text... it looks good, just that its almost less of a photo and more a design because of it. I want to see it without the text, but its so obvious it distracts me.

The photo is certainly "more than average" but why these chinese characters on it ?

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I thought maybe the Kanji characters would make a marketable print... The characters say something about how the forest loves the mist and how water feeds the forest (at least I hope so...)

What are Kanji characters? It all looks Chineese to me. Would you consider printing this out on a cloth canvas? I like the calming effect the image has on me (head drooping to my desk as I write this...). Well done my friend!

Beautifull misty composition. The characteres (no matter what they mean) go very well with the firtrees silhouettes.

Just like a Japanese woodblock print. Beautiful! The Kanji really nails it. I think this one works better than the horizontal one simply because of the Kanji.

Maybe I'm a little late to comment on this one. Just wanted to say that it's one of the best fog mountain forest pictures with Asian flair that I have seen around here. Here is one of mine in this category, just a few ratings lower :-)
