henrimanguy 0 Posted November 29, 2004 ... then having noticed that the other photographers were gone, I set myself up on the free place. With the maximum aperture, the exposure time was of one sixth of second. Because of the fog, the depth of field had no importance (San Giorgio Maggiore in the background on the other side of the chanel was not visible), and I thought that the slight move of the gondolas would be apparent without make them totaly ghostly. I took a few shots, trying to catch a beautiful splash of water against the quay in the foreground. And finaly I have turned this morning foggy landscape in a night landscape. What do you think of it ? Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted November 29, 2004 The gondolas shot this way has been seen before ... the difference which makes it a better photo is the dramatic water and the way the light is falling on the decks. A foggy morning shot ... turned into a night shot ... good job. I like the very dark background. Well done. Link to comment
