michaelseewald 237 Posted November 27, 2004 After four days of looking around Katmandu and not finding a single perfect composition, I started to think my eye was broken. Harsh light was the main culprit. Then I saw this scene from half a block away, in an alleyway in some open shade. As usual, it is as I found it and un-altered by me. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted November 29, 2004 Very nice pic Mike..has a mood. Still life is not my bag when when you think about it its all still in photography isn't it...love the background. Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted November 29, 2004 Yeah, without the background the eye would not have had anything to bring it back around. I would then just have skipped making this image all together and 'missed' the only image released from a weeks worth or work! Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted November 29, 2004 nice work. a complete picture, as kanji mentioned. Link to comment
suresh randadath 0 Posted December 1, 2004 Awesome! Another work of art from seemingly mundane objects. It is amazing to think that it is an unaltered image. Link to comment
alan chan 0 Posted March 1, 2005 It is so nicely composed and perhaps arrangement by nature is the most beautiful thing :) I like the form, the composition and most the magic touch of "red" over the uniform blue background. This is simply wonderful !! Link to comment

michaelseewald 237 Posted July 19, 2005 And I am glad I wore mine out back in 1991, it was WAY to heavy for a 'travel camera', but I had purchased it for studio work years earlier (1983), before I traveled and had to use what I had. Even used it for weddings, and that was no fun either. After 20 trips around the world with it I sold it and got a Hassey- Thank U Lord- which I use to this day. Link to comment

deniselanterman 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Michael, I love the slightly grainy, beautifully toned quality of this image. I'm a new photographer and am inspired by work that goes beyond capturing an image, and gives it heart and soul. Denise. Link to comment
