rayfraser 0 Posted November 27, 2004 I hope never to confront so much detail head on (as in Starship Troopers). I wonder when cameras will be able to self-integrate multiple exposures. Was it originally that red white and black? Well done - a 7/7 macro. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 27, 2004 I'd say it worked, Mark - DOF looks pretty darn good. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 28, 2004 Well composed and exposed - your successive shots appear seamless. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted November 28, 2004 Great composition and colors. I guess I should say, lack of colors...the black and white go well with the red. Link to comment
amanda mumma 0 Posted November 28, 2004 is that what they really look like up close and very personal - yukko, glad I have got plenty of Mortein cos we get heaps of these pests in Australia!! Excellent macro, I love the simple red, black and white. Link to comment
allonkira 0 Posted November 28, 2004 A wonderful macro shot (again), Mark! good DOF and details, exposure is excellent. I know how hard it is to get the right lighting in this kind of shots. I've tried many times to shot a fly's head, but I've never succeeded to get the gray-brown area between the eyes in good exposure. You did here just great!! Thanks, allon. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 30, 2004 ... but too close for me! I would like more space around, but You know that dear Mark! 6/6, Biliana Link to comment

secondsight 0 Posted December 23, 2007 Doing multiple exposures has been possible on many cameras for decades, although it was a tricky process at times and was never automatic as you're suggesting. There was a time when I would have saidthis will never happen because the needs of integrating multiple exposures are incredibly individual and I can't see any software getting smart enough to know what you were planning when you did a shot. However, I beleive there is a Sony camera which will automatically do things such as take two photos of a family and merge them such that closed eyes in one picture will be replaced by a happy smily face in another. I still beleive that the day will never come when it will do everything because of the fact every situations is so personal. Excellent shot! I never would have guessed it was a multiple exposure.
