kslonaker 0 Posted November 27, 2004 Great form, Howard. A tiny glint in his eye would have made this perfect. Sometimes if you ask nicely, they will turn their head into the light and pose for you. :) I love the background and the selected DOF worked well to make it the perfect backdrop for the bird. Nice tones and muted colors, too. Link to comment

jayme 0 Posted November 28, 2004 You're right Howard! This is very nice. I agree with Kim, wonderful DOF and the backroound is so nice. The detail & composition is also wonderful. Nice job! Giving that lens a workout! Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted November 28, 2004 Well done, Howard. Nice detail and right amount of DOF. You're justifying this new purchase for sure. ^_^ Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted November 28, 2004 I like when water is the backdrop for a bird pic. I also like the curve of the back and neck. Kim - does the asking-the-bird-to-turn-his-head thing work even if you've got on fuzzy slippers? Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted November 29, 2004 The background really makes this a winner. Very nice placement of the bird in the frame and also good detail on the bird. 6/6 Link to comment
