Great form, Howard. A tiny glint in his eye would have made this perfect. Sometimes if you ask nicely, they will turn their head into the light and pose for you. :) I love the background and the selected DOF worked well to make it the perfect backdrop for the bird. Nice tones and muted colors, too.

I like when water is the backdrop for a bird pic. I also like the curve of the back and neck. Kim - does the asking-the-bird-to-turn-his-head thing work even if you've got on fuzzy slippers?
