The photograph is excellent, except for the very evident artifacting where the sky meets the rocks... due to heavy use of sharpening? Even with a strong 6/6

Interesting rock detail (as I said in some comment, detail doesn't have to be a macro), good composition, and I like the colors. As noted above, the sharpening I just a bit too strong, only emphasized by recompression here on Pn... Jiri

Nice composition in orange and blue. The light gives an excellent relief to the mountain.

 

To answer to S. Miller, I think that the artifacts in the sky above the rock is due to the jpeg compression. I have often note this flaw when a sky is very smooth like this one.

The pattern in the rock layers is awesome alomg with the colors..just great.
