from my humble opinion i've no idea what you were trying to photograph here. if it was the crowd, it doesn't work for as it's just bland back of the head views. if it's the stage, you missed it, if it's the big screen you got it in the picture but there's nothing visually interesting happening on it.

what were you aiming to get in this shot as i simply can't see it

James, after looking thru your portfolio of really beautiful concert photos, I very well understand your frustration & non-understanding of this photo of mine. It depicts all those items you rightfully mention. They are in the sight of someone standing amidst the constantly moving around public, hellish noise coming from all sides, sometimes nothing happens on the stage indeed, yet deafening sounds, must have been the music. So, it might show my confusion about & dislike of the art part of that concert. However, I got interested in the public. Some more photos in the folder show a lot of kids sitting on their parents' shoulders. I thought that it was an interesting item. Thanks very much for your critiques. It's always funny to detect that no one sees an image in the same way. Cheers, Sam.

Sam, there are no good and bad photos. There are only those which attract us and others which don't. And the same photo can attracts someone very much, but leave the other completely cold.

And that's actually what I like at the art.

Regarding particular photo, I don't find anything special on it neither, but that's just my feeling. You might think other way, so keep doing what you like.
